Chandler Park in Pardeeville packed for a car show | New
On Saturday under cloudy skies, hundreds of car connoisseurs packed Chandler Park in Pardeeville for the annual classic car and truck show.
The 18th Annual Pardeeville Car and Truck Show featured a tractor show, silent auction and 120 trophies awarded in 37 different categories for show cars and trucks.
Bill Frey was cleaning the inside of his car in the early afternoon. He said the 1966 Pontiac LeMans was not a show car, but he likes to come to the auto show with his LeMans.
“Whether he needs it or not, once a year I wipe him down,” Frey said. He came from Prairie du Sac to take part in the annual car show.
There was little free space in the afternoon. Registration closed at noon and judging began.
Frey has been coming to the event for years and has noted the number of cars.

“It’s usually full if you haven’t signed up by 10 a.m.,” Frey said.
In addition to enthusiasts, there were children’s train rides and Minnesota Jack Sparrow. He cruised around the park on his remote-controlled boat joking around with car enthusiasts and children, with his pirate theme song playing along the way.
