Jewels stolen from Hursley Road in Chandler’s Ford

A LITTER of jewellery, including heirlooms, was snatched from a home.

Thieves raided a property in Hursley Road, Chandler’s Ford, as the occupants were out, police said.

They left with necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings following the burglary which occurred between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday August 10.

Police have now released images of the stolen jewels and are calling on the public to help find them.

DS Simon Price said: “Not only are the jewels worth a lot of money, they have great sentimental value as some pieces are family heirlooms.

“We want to reunite the objects with their owners and ask for your help.

“Did you notice any suspicious activity in the area at the time or people on a private driveway with tools?

“If you have any information that could help our investigation or a relevant dash cam or other imagery that could help, we would love to hear from you.

“Also, if you see any jewelry matching these images for sale, please contact us.”

Witnesses, or anyone with information that could help the police, should call 101 quoting the crime reference number 44220323373.
